Availability
All our cakes are baked, designed and
decorated by us. We offer a personalised service and only make
a limited number of cakes per year. Please check that we are
available on the date of your wedding before placing an order.
Choosing your Cake
The wedding Cake Company is here to help you
choose and then order your cake. Here are 3 ways for you to choose a cake from
us:
You may like our cakes, but have a completely
different design in mind, or you may not be sure of what you want.
In either case a
free face to face consultation is recommended. We have hundreds of designs available in our
resource file and books for you to browse through and choose from.
You may see the exact cake you require on our website.
Simply specify the cake by name and place your order. No need for
a consultation. This saves you time and is hassle free and
guarantees that you get a cake that exactly matches the one
online at exactly the same published price. We can raise an
invoice so that you can pay online. Please note, we only raise
invoices for orders placed on-line
You may see a cake that almost meets your requirement apart
from variations in both colour, cake ingredients, number of
tiers. We can recalculate the price over the phone and provide a
quote for your cake. However you may wish to discuss this face
to face.
The Consultation
Once you
have an idea of the cake you require you might like to arrange a
free
consultation to guide your decisions. The consultation is there
to help you choose the best cake for you and guests on your wedding
day. You may have strong ideas or no idea about what your wedding cake might
look like or what flavours to choose. We will help you with your decisions.
During the
consultation you will have the opportunity to see example cakes in
our show room, our flowers and decorations and taste samples from
our cake range. Most consultations last between 30-60 minutes.
Placing an Order
Once you have decided which cake you require it
is time to place an order. There are three ways to order a wedding cake from The Wedding
Cake Company:
Telephone us on
01843 220 938 and we will guide you
through the process of selecting your cake. We will be able to
give you a firm quote over the phone and will confirmed this in
writing on receipt of a 25% deposit.
Email us your request using the
enquiry form and correspond via email. Again you can place a firm order
once we have received a 25% deposit. As stated earlier, we can
raise an invoice so you can pay online provided.
Arrange a free face to face consultation by either
telephoning us on 01843 220 938 or completing the
enquiry
form. The consultation will last a maximum of 1 hour. The
consultation can be arranged on our premises or we can make a
home visit.
Please note that
for orders over £1000 must be paid in full at the time of placing an
order. A 75% refund is available provided the cake is cancelled at
least 14 days before the agreed date of completion (see
Terms Section 4.3).
